Can someone else register for me?

Yes if there are a group of athletes from one affiliate who want to register, one person can register the group however they will need to know the personal details for all athletes i.e. email address, home address, date of birth etc.

I've registered for the wrong division, how do I change this?

You can change your division before the first WODs are released by emailing hello@wodcast.com.

What is the age for the master’s category?

You must be 40+ years old on the 29th of January 2016 to compete in the master’s division.

If I am eligible to compete in the masters division can I still choose to compete in the individual male/female category?

Yes. However you will not be able to change your category once the first qualifier WOD has been released. If you would like to enter both, you can register for more than one division. Please note that if you enter more than one division, you will need to complete the WODs for each division and enter both sets of scores separately. When the WODs are released you will be able to see if the master's WODs vary from the individual WODs if that is a concern.

Will the qualifier WODs for the individual and masters categories be the same?

The structure of the WODs will be the same, however some of the weights will be lighter for masters.

If I’m not a member of a Registered CrossFit affiliate can I still compete?

You will need to complete all the qualifier WODs at a registered affiliate and be judged by a certified Level 1 trainer. If you are not a member of a CrossFit affiliate you will need to contact your nearest affiliate to ask if you can complete the WODs there. No CrossFit Affiliate is obliged to allow non members complete the workouts at their box and charges may apply if allowed. You will need to register under this affiliate, and the affiliate manager will have to verify your scores each week. However you do not need to represent the said affiliate in the competition.

Can I submit a video of my qualifier WOD instead of doing it at an affiliate?

No. You must complete your qualifier workouts at a registered CrossFit affiliate.

If I am away from my affiliate during the qualifiers can I do them somewhere else?

Yes you can complete the qualifier WODs at another registered CrossFit affiliate as long as you get permission from the affiliate owner/coach. You must be judged by a CrossFit Level 1 trainer. You will still need your own affiliate manager to verify your score.

How do I submit my score?

Once you have registered to compete you will receive a confirmation email. Shortly after that you will receive an email from WODcast, this will contain your login details and password to your personal scoring page. You will need to log in here each week to submit your score.

Can I repeat the WOD and enter in multiple scores?

Yes you can repeat the WOD as many times as you like. You can change your score if you improve on your previous result. However every time you enter a new score it must be verified by the affiliate manager to be counted.

How does my score get verified?

Once you have entered your score through your personal scoring page, it will appear on your affiliate managers page of scores to be verified. They tick the box next to your name and score and press verify. As soon as your score has been verified it will appear on the leaderboard. If your score is not verified it will not appear on the leaderboard.

What if I don’t enter my score before the closing time?

If you don’t enter your score by the final deadline you will not get a score for that WOD, and will not be ranked on the overall leaderboard, and therefore will not be able to qualify for the Athlete Games finals.

I'm an affiliate owner, how do I register my affiliate?

The Affiliate registration page is here.

What if my affiliate manager forgets to verify my score in time?

If your score is not verified by the deadline you will not be ranked on the overall leaderboard and therefore will not be able to qualify for the Athlete Games finals. It is your responsibility to ensure your affiliate manager is aware of the closing time.

What if I get injured/sick during the qualifiers and cannot complete one or more of the qualifiers?

You must complete, enter a score and have your score verified each week in order to qualify for the Athlete Games finals. If you do not manage to complete all the WODs you will not be ranked on the overall leader board at the end of the online qualifiers and will not be able to qualify for the finals.
